IS WINDOW TINTING NECESSARY IF I HAVE DRAPES OR BLINDS ON MY WINDOWS?
Absolutely! The sun will damage your window treatments and you won’t be able to keep your window coverings open without having all the harmful rays entering through the glass.

WILL WINDOW FILM DARKEN THE INTERIOR OF MY HOME?
No. It will not darken the interior of a room. Instead, window film softens the light and, since you can leave your window coverings open, more light is going to be allowed in.

HOW WILL WINDOW FILM KEEP MY HOUSE COOLER?
Window film will reduce up to 79% of the heat entering a room from the outdoors. This reduction saves you money by lowering your air conditioning costs.

WILL FILM TURN PURPLE OVER A PERIOD OF TIME?
No. Most films today have no dyes in them so there is no chance of the film fading or discoloring over time.

CAN YOU APPLY FILM TO DUAL PANE WINDOWS?
Yes. We carry a complete line of film that is recommended by the manufacturer to be used on dual pane windows. We will provide you with a glass-breakage warranty that will cover the glass on the dual pane unit. The chances of anything like this happening are very minimal.

CAN I CLEAN MY WINDOW FILM?
Window film is very durable and has a scratch-resistant coating to protect it. You can clean window film using any non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or squeegee.

DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE A SILVER REFLECTIVE FILM TO REDUCE HEAT?
We do not recommend using silver films on your home due to the “aluminum foil” look that would result. Silver films are more appropriately used in office buildings. All of our residential films use metals such as titanium which are significantly less reflective. These residential films are more aesthetically pleasing while still maintaining high levels of heat and glare reduction.

IS WINDOW FILM APPLIED TO THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF THE WINDOW?
Window film is almost always applied to the inside of the window. We do carry one film that can be applied to the outside of the glass if this is necessary. Of course, this film comes with the full warranty we provide on all our products.
